Reflection
My experience with the compare and contrast essay went smoothly. I chose to do my essay on the differences of Chapel Hill University and Duke University. I chose those two colleges because they are the top two schools on my mind that I want to transfer to. I wanted to show their differences from one another as if I was deciding at that moment what school I would like to transfer to. At first, I was struggling with the introduction in my literary essay. Now, it is the conclusion that gave me the problem. I was told from a peer that I needed to put more stuff into my conclusion. Make the conclusion a wow factor. I didn't know that my conclusion wasn't that good, but it was great to hear from others about your essay before you submit it for a grade. I went home and looked up more research for my essay then changed up the conclusion. It is helpful having someone else tell you about your essay, because now I can do a lot better with my conclusions. I want people to read my conclusion and feel good about what they read.
